I am Joe Nullet, a graduate of Harvard University and professional trainer and consultant in the field of Supervised Visitation.
For the past 12 years, I was the Executive Director of the Supervised Visitation Network, where I was directly involved in the development of multiple training curriculums. In addition to my administrative duties as the E.D., I was the primary trainer for SVN, training providers across the United States and Canada, as well as professionals in Singapore, Great Britain, and Japan. Before that, I was the Executive Director of the Family Nurturing Center of Florida, a Supervised Visitation and Parent Education program in Jacksonville, Florida.
In February 2020, I left SVN to focus on what I love to do most, TRAIN! I am passionate about Supervised Visitation and want to continue to help providers keep families and children safe.
As "The Visit Coach" I will be offering interactive and innovative online and in person trainings based on the knowledge and experience gained over almost 20 years of providing supervised visitation and parent education.
Having trained supervised visitation professionals across the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Japan, and Singapore, I am uniquely qualified to offer innovative and insightful training and consulting for your organization. I bring a high energy, engaging, often humorous approach to help providers understand the unique challenges of supervised visitation and parent education.
Supervised Visitation can be intense and challenging work that is frequently misunderstood and under appreciated. I know and understand this work, so offering some additional, creative training resources available to providers is my goal to help keep families safe, but connected, during the difficult times when supervised visitation is a part of their lives.

Adapted by Joe Nullet and Dr. Stephen Bavolek, the Nurturing Parenting Skills for Families in Supervised Visitation is an innovative program designed to empower parents and parent educators in creating customized, competency based parenting programs to meet the specific needs of families. It consists of 45 lessons, each lasting between approximately 30 minutes that are intended to either precede a supervised visitation, or be incorporated into the visit. The lessons are taken from the evidenced-based Nurturing Parenting Programs for Parents and Their Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers, and Parents and Their School Age Children. Based on the assessed needs of the family, parents and parent educators work together and select competency based lessons from the curriculum to form a parenting/visitation program that is customized to meet the specific needs of the families.
Joe Nullet is available to deliver the 3 day Nurturing Parenting Faciltator Training with an emphasis on this curriculum at your program or practice. Contact joe@thevisitcoach.com for details
